I was using micellar water for a while which was fine but I got tired of harshly rubbing my face with a cotton pad afterwards. The oil is thick and really gets the makeup off. The scent definitely smells like roses but it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. And I have super sensitive skin. Doesn’t burn my eyes either. Never going back to a different makeup remover ever again
